Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use our website. We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The site partially meets these requirements; the known issues are listed below.

• Page content also works without JavaScript and can be read with a screen reader.
• The site can be used with a keyboard. The first link skips straight to the content, and the focused element is clearly visible.
• Animations and automatically changing images stop if reduced motion is selected on the device. The home page carousel can be paused.
• The language of each page is marked, and the site is available in Finnish and English.
• Images are given text alternatives.
• Colours and text sizes are chosen for legibility, and the site adapts to small screens and zooming.
• All functions of the cookie notice and settings work with a keyboard and a screen reader.

• The 3D illustration in the reference story cannot be used with a screen reader. Every step is also described in text, and a drawing is shown where 3D is not supported.
• Downloadable PDF files, such as the quality certificate, may not be accessible. [Check the PDF files before launch.]
• Some images are illustrations, and their text alternatives will be completed when the images are replaced. [Remove this item once the images are replaced.]
• When the contact form’s spam protection is on, sending the form requires JavaScript. You can also contact us by email or phone; the details are on the Contact page.
